Pistorius Earns All-America Honors
For Immediate Release, Monday, December 4, 2006

COLLEGE STATION, Texas- Texas A&M junior forward, Ashlee Pistorius was selected as a member of the 2006 NSCAA/adidas Women's Division I All-America Team, the association announced this week.

Pistorius, a native of Bloomington, Ill., earned NSCAA All-America second team honors for the first time in her career after registering a team leading 15 goals while dishing out five assists. In playing just three seasons at A&M, Pistorius ranks third in Aggie career goals scored (56) and game-winning goals (19).

A total of 13 A&M soccer players have been selected as All-Americans while 10 Aggies have been named to the NSCAA All-America Team. The last Aggie to earn NSCAA All-America honors, prior to Pistorius, was goalkeeper Kati Jo Spisak in 2003.
